Brain Builders

Here kids can be kids and let their legs stretch a little.  As much as we are a serious education program, we also love to build programs that allow children to enjoy other aspects of learning as well.  All the while staying within our theme of learning and brain development.

Meets once a week for 1 ½ – 2 hours.  We rotate subjects on a weekly basis so that students can fully enjoy each part without feeling anything was cut short.  At this time, the fun studies include: Public Speaking, Chess, Robotics, and Complex Puzzles.  When kids come in and participate in a group, these fun studies really come to life and can actually become fun.

This is a peer driven program that allows certain children who have proven themselves to take a leadership role.  Chess will generally be taught by instructors who understand the game, and have the ability to teach it.  We will have mini-lessons to start followed by a game play session.  When the time is right, we offer access to recognized chess competitions as well.
